Ecological Field Technologist
This position has a term length of one year plus one day, with the possibility of renewal.
Location - This position offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work (in Edmonton) based on work preferences. Preference for schedule will be discussed during the recruitment process.
Reporting to the Restoration Field Coordinator or Senior Lead, Monitoring and Science Innovation, the Ecological Field Technologist conducts ecological field monitoring and restoration monitoring activities across Alberta. The position is responsible for implementing established monitoring protocols, collecting high-quality field data, maintaining specialized equipment, and supporting the safe and efficient delivery of field programs.
The position works independently in remote environments and collaborates with scientists, technical staff, and seasonal field personnel to support ABMI's long-term biodiversity monitoring programs.
