Description

The Neighbourhood Support Worker will work with the nursing staff within a team environment providing Resident meal service with dignity and kindness. The Neighbourhood Support Worker will additionally perform personal laundry services for the residents and light housekeeping on the Neighbourhood, while maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the kitchen/dining room areas. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent is required. Must have the ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language and to follow written and oral directions.
