Description

Provides meal service to residents, staff, and other customers in accordance with approved standards, departmental policies, procedures and time schedules. Delivers and collects food/dish carts. Processes soiled dishes and utensils; cleans equipment and serving areas. Performs other related duties as assigned/required.

Qualifications

Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent is required. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in the English language and to follow written and oral directions. Must pass CapitalCare literacy test. Related experience in health care setting or hospitality industry is desirable. Certificate in FoodSafe is an asset.
