Description

The Therapy Assistant facilitates person centred care with direction from the appropriate Therapist or Manager. You will perform your Therapy Assistant duties for Rehabilitation Services in accordance with set guidelines standards and best practices. Performs other related duties as assigned/required.

Qualifications

Graduation from a recognized Therapy Diploma Program (or equivalent) is required. Consideration may be given to those who have trained and worked at a professional Therapist level in another country. Where position involves transportation of residents, a Class IV driver's license, Driver's Abstract with no demerit points and successful completion of a Defensive Driving Course are required. Able to meet CapitalCare's insurance coverage requirements.
