Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.

Under the direction of the Assistant Registrar, Enrolment Services, the University Calendar Editor serves as leader for the Calendar including web content management activities and serves as an expert resource to the Registrar’s Office staff, Office of the Provost, University Governance, Faculties and Departments regarding the development and production of the Calendar including serving as the first point of contact and subject matter expert for 80+ Faculty and Department Calendar Contacts.

The Calendar Editor is responsible for reviewing, updating and tracking all Calendar changes. These include all Programs Committee (PC), Committee on the Learning Environment and Student Affairs (CLESA), GFC Executive (GFC Exec), General Faculties Council (GFC), Board Learning, Research and Student Experience Committee (BLRSEC), and Board of Governors (BoG) course, program, and regulation changes, and ensuring that all changes have been approved by the appropriate governance body.

The University Calendar is one of the principal sources of U of A policy information for students and a critical part of the University record. Among other information, it reflects admission requirements, academic regulations, programs of study, academic standards, degree requirements and general University policies for both undergraduate and graduate students. The University Calendar serves as a contract between the institution and the student.
