Clean Harbors Edmonton AB is looking for a Licensed Heavy Duty Mobile Mechanic to join their safety conscious team!
This ideal candidate will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairing of all company fleet at branch and client locations throughout the area. This is a permanent full-time position, travelling up to 50% of the time. Monday to Friday 6am-3:30pm, 10 hour days. This can transition into 7 days/week when traveling or working on shutdowns. Clean Drivers abstract will be required during the hiring process.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Complete and follow all Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) and Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs).
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles and various types of equipment.
- Conduct routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Complete and maintain warranty documentation.
- Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn, damaged, or defective components as required.
- Work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Complete all required documentation, including daily Samsara logs, accurately and in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic/Technician certification
- 3+ years' experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic.
- Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.
- Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.
- Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software
- Class 5 Driver's License required with a clean drivers abstract.
