Description

Please note that the hours of work are as follows: 0900-1715 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 0930-1600 on Wednesdays, and 0900-1200 on Fridays.

Conducts small group or one to one Music Therapy interventions that focus on the restoration, maintenance, and improvement of the overall health and wellbeing of residents. Plans, implements, and evaluates the Music Therapy service in the centre. Performs other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications

A Baccalaureate degree in a recognized Music Therapy program. A member in good standing with the Canadian Association for Music Therapy (CAMT). A Music Therapist Accredited (MTA) or in the process of obtaining MTA status. Membership with Music Therapy Association of Alberta is recommended.
